Upcoming Meetings
April 21st, from 1-4pm, our public meeting will be a Basket Weaving class, hosted by Nancy Divoll, in her home in Barrington, NH.
Nancy started basket weaving over 35 years ago. Her baskets were juried by the League of NH Craftsman, and she would go to different shows in NH and Vermont to sell her baskets. At the age of 68, Nancy enjoys teaching and loves seeing students go home with a basket they made themselves.
Nancy says, “Some say it’s a dying art, but they have never seen my house!”
The basket for this class is 8″X6″X21/2″. It does not have a handle but is more of a decorative piece. Class size will be limited to 10 people. Cost for this class is $36, this includes cost of the basket kit.
As usual, this is more meet up than meeting; please bring a small dish or snack to share.
